GymIQ measures every rack, machine and zone, every hour, for 30 days. Then tells you what to buy, move, drop, and when to staff.
GymIQ is a camera-based measurement system for gyms. It measures how much each piece of equipment is used, when each zone gets crowded, and how members move around the floor, then turns that into a report an owner can act on. A2 Digital sells it as a one-time 30-day Floor Study, starting with a free remote check of the gym’s existing security cameras, with an optional live dashboard.
See which stations run near capacity and which sit idle. Spend the next budget on what members queue for.
Flow data shows where members bunch up and which corners nobody reaches. Move two things; the floor feels bigger.
Peak patterns by zone and hour show when to staff the floor and which quiet windows to sell as off-peak.
Send 5–10 screenshots from your existing security cameras. We tell you which stations and zones they can measure, and send a free snapshot analysis if coverage allows.
Good coverage: the study runs remotely on your cameras. Thin coverage: we design and install the few extra cameras the metrics need. Nothing touches the equipment.
Software counts occupancy and movement per station and zone, hour by hour, every day. No faces, no member accounts, no manual logging.
Utilization, peak patterns, flow, and specific recommendations in plain language. Keep it, act on it, or keep the dashboard running.
Not door counts. Zone-level demand, hour by hour, across the week. You see the exact windows where crowding puts memberships at risk, and the mid-day capacity you’re paying for and not selling.
Every Floor Study ends with a short list: what to add, what to remove, what to move, and when to staff. Each item carries the numbers behind it so you can defend the decision to a partner or a bank.

Most gyms have a third of their floor earning almost nothing outside two peak hours. GymIQ shows you which third, so the next lease, purchase or layout change is based on what members actually do.
Prices in USD, one location. Installed Floor Study covers up to 6 stations/zones; larger floors quoted on the coverage call. Multi-location pricing available.
Often, yes. Send us 5–10 screenshots from your existing cameras and we’ll tell you, free, which stations and zones they can measure. If coverage is good enough, the Floor Study runs remotely on your cameras. If it’s thin, we design and install the few extra cameras you need. We won’t promise your current cameras are enough until we’ve seen them.
No. GymIQ counts occupancy and movement at the station and zone level. It does not recognise faces or link activity to member accounts, and it is not a security product.
From the free Coverage Check: a note on what your cameras can measure, plus a snapshot analysis if coverage allows. From a Floor Study: a written report with utilization by station, peak patterns by zone and hour, flow between zones, and specific recommendations on equipment, layout and staffing. Continuous customers also get a live dashboard and a monthly summary.
Yes. The Coverage Check is free, the Floor Study is a one-time purchase, and you keep the report and any cameras we install. The Continuous dashboard is optional and month to month.
Early patterns show within the first week. The full Floor Study report follows the 30-day measurement window, because weekend and holiday patterns matter and one week doesn’t show them.
Any gym where someone is making equipment, layout and staffing decisions and wants numbers behind them: independent gyms, boutique studios, strength gyms, and multi-location groups. Multi-location pricing is available.
Send a few screenshots from your existing cameras. We’ll tell you what they can measure, free, and what a Floor Study would add.
